Registration

Registration is closed

We are excited to announce that PAFIA is partnering with our members to create a Writers Circle. The Writers Circle will be held weekly/bi-weekly and provide a space for participants to collaborate, read each other’s work, and give and receive feedback. This is a great opportunity to hear your work read out loud and receive notes from individuals with differing perspectives. Not to mention the opportunity to network with fellow screenwriters and filmmakers.

Our goal is to make writing a less isolated activity so we can all grow together as creatives. This will be an insightful and exciting experience whether you’re interested in screenwriting as a hobby or a career.

This group will be led by Liz Weist. See bio below!

Liz Wiest is a Philadelphia-based screenwriter. She received her BA in English from Temple University, and her MFA in Screenwriting from Point Park University.  She has worked in both television development and production for a wide variety of projects for networks such as Netflix, Apple TV and HBO. Her works have placed in the Austin Film Festival, Big Shoulders International Film Festival and the Script Lab. She has trained in Satire Writing with The Second City Network, and her work can be found published in Points in Case, Broadway Beat News, Omnarchy and Functionally Dead.

Sign up and more details will be shared on dates and times for the group to meet!
