PAFIA Screenwriters Group - Sunday Afternoons

  • Sunday, April 25, 2021

Registration is closed

We are excited to announce that PAFIA is partnering with our members to create a Writers Circle. The Writers Circle will be held weekly/bi-weekly and provide a space for participants to collaborate, read each other’s work, and give and receive feedback. This is a great opportunity to hear your work read out loud and receive notes from individuals with differing perspectives. Not to mention the opportunity to network with fellow screenwriters and filmmakers.

Our goal is to make writing a less isolated activity so we can all grow together as creatives. This will be an insightful and exciting experience whether you’re interested in screenwriting as a hobby or a career.

This group will be led by Gwen Norsic. See bio below!

Gwen Norsic is a graduate from Point Park University with her degree in Screenwriting. She has written multiple shorts, specs for Archer, Sex Education, Grace and Frankie, and three full-length screenplays ranging from drama to sci-fi and action-adventure. Gwen enjoys mixing genres and would love to continue writing fantasy as well as drama and comedy. She has worked on multiple sets in PA roles and also as a script supervisor for about three shorts.

When Gwen isn't writing, she's working full time as a Human Resources professional and binge-watching as many great shows as she can find. Through her writing and professional career, Gwen strives to keep diversity and inclusion at the forefront of everything she does.

Sign up and more details will be shared on dates and times for the group to meet!
